Following Atticus

This morning Atticus and I stopped off at the Jackson Public Library so that he could prepare himself for his big year.

As most of you know, our story Following Atticus: Forty Eight High Peaks, One Little Dog, & and Extraordinary Friendship is being published by William Morrow in October of 2011. And just in case you didn't know - the last dog book Morrow published was John Grogan's Marley & Me. We are honored to be published by the same house and in some foreign countries as well. When this autumn rolls around you'll be able to read about our adventures here in North America, as well as throughout the United Kingdom, in Germany, and Italy.

  1. Congrats Tom!!! As I've said before, I'm anxious to get a copy as soon as it comes out! Maybe I can send it up to you to get it autographed :) ??

You'll have to get an ink pad so Atticus can put his paw print in some copies, too...Just Kidding!

    Love the picture of Atticus!

    Again, congratulations!

    Hey Tom, Mike Cook here.
Don't know if I told you, but I'm the proud owner of a white miniature schnauzer pup named Harry.

The AKC doesn't recognize the whites, but Europe and Latin American kennel clubs do.

Like Attie, his ears are, and will remain uncropped, and like Attie in the White Mountains, he's leading an adventurous but tropical life roaming the beach, combing the reefs, chasing chickens, riding horseback, and interacting with anteaters - and I'm getting it all on film.

I'll be on the North Shore in late March, maybe the teo German boys can meet. LOL
