As for the view, that's from the summit of Mount Hight, right next to Carter Dome. Many peakbaggers are silly enough to pass it by. However, other than winters when the snow is several feet deep atop Carter Dome, there is no view up there, but one of the best in all the Whites is just down the trail.
A funny comment from a friend: when he saw the above photo he noticed the poster, but also thought that wasn't really Atticus in the foreground but a cardboard display of him!
Just received a poster of the book cover from our publisher, William Morrow. How fun is this! Now to get it framed.
