We woke up to a temperatures in the thirties this morning and earlier this week snow fell on the 4,000-footers throughout the White Mountains. That means winter is on its way, as are the holidays. One of the most common questions we get is "How can I get an autographed copy of Following Atticus signed by both you and Atticus?"
There are only two ways: show up at one of our book signings, and there are only two left and they are both this weekend in Massachusetts, or call our local bookstore, White Birch Books. White Birch Books is located in North Conway and they will handle your special order with ease. They've already sold more than 2,000 copies of our story and have shipped them throughout the country and overseas.
Each week Atticus and I stop in to visit the ladies at White Birch Books to see what is new in the book world and to pick up the latest works from our favorite authors. (Currently on my nightstand are the latest from Louise Penny, William Martin, John Irving, Carolos Ruiz Zafon, and Katherine Howe.) While there we sign copies of our books and they are promptly mailed out by Laura Lucy and her staff.
To place your order for hardcover, paperback, large print, or audio copies of Following Atticus, call them at (603)356-3200, which they prefer, or you can visit their website at www.whitebirchbooks.com.

The ladies at White Birch were wonderful when I ordered my autographed/pawtographed copy. I treasure it!!
ReplyDeleteTom, another book you might like to add to your nightstand collection is Where The Blind Horse Sings, Love and Healing at an Animal Sanctuary by Kathy Stevens. I think you would relate to the magical changes that happen when needy animals are respected and loved. If you are considering giving unwanted farm animals a home, you will love this book even more. A friend of mine recommended it to me and I'll be sure to give her a pawtographed copy of Following Atticus this Christmas.
ReplyDeleteOrdered same from your Sat. appearance store. The lady who took care of me was lovely, but I just now wonder if she understood I wanted you and any of your friends who might accompany you to pawtograph AND autograph ordered book. If there was a misunderstanding, will White Birch let me send book to them for signatures?? From Ohio, or would certainly travel to an appearance.
ReplyDeleteI have ordered many a autographed/paw graphed book and I LOVE chatting with the ladies at White Birch Book..they are "paw"some!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have listened to my library's copy of 'Following Atticus' several times.. I never tire of hearing Tom tell his story. I recently called the wonderful folks at White Birch to order a hardcopy version and they made it so easy.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering which mountain is in the first picture of this blog? It looks like an interesting trail that Atticus is on..also, which peaks are in the background?

ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful book! You've given so much pleasure to so many people. I called all the indie stores in my area to make sure they had it in stock and were displaying it so people would think about giving it as a gift (plus putting out a jar for contributions to their local animal shelter and activities). You know we're all eagerly anticipating the next book. Is there a tentative publishing date set yet? Next: was there a childhood book that particularly inspired or spoke to you in some fashion? And when did you start to feel the desire to become a writer? Apologies for all the questions! Have a great winter!
