Yes, I know...

...the calendar says spring doesn't start until next week, but Mother Nature doesn't always do things by the calendar. Here in the Mount Washington Valley it is already mud season. Doesn't mean there won't be another snow storm sooner or later but even if that does happen the snow won't stick around very long. The birdsong, playful chipmunks, temperatures, mud and playful little dogs getting set to take flight know that spring has indeed arrived.
