Photos from Isolation Posted

In winter, Isolation is such a treat when there are views. You walk for miles without any views, get a few before the summit, then when you climb the short and steep spur path you're treated to one of the best views in the Whites. Isolation also gives a unique perspective on Washington and the Southern Presidentials. You don't get to see this same angle from another 4,000-footer. Because of the frigid cold we didn't stay on the summit very long and I took the photos in a hurry and literally while walking off the summit. What I enjoyed as much as the view of the mountains was the way the blue sky took over and lent contrast to the mountains. The photos are here: http://outdoors.webshots.com/album/557439996FcmOQN?vhost=outdoors.
