Photos From Ken Stampfer
On Saturday we hiked into the Zealand Valley with Ken and Ann Stampfer. Here are some of the talented photographer's photos from that day.
Hi Ari. They are a little different and referred to as trekking poles. They are adjustable and have some give to them. They are great on taking stress off the legs on the descent, offer balance while crossing streams, and at times help with the steep uphill sections allowing me to use my arms. They have become quite popular in the hiking community.
To find out more about them hit either ems.com or rei.com and check them out. Or you can go directly to the sites of the most popular companies: Leki and Black Diamond.

Neat scenery. You walk with a ski pole?
