Tom & Atticus Have Now Completed All 48 4,000-footers in Winter

After hiking to the summits of Madison, Adams and Jefferson on Monday, we have now finished all 48 of the Winter Fours. Last year we had summited 41 of the 48 and missed out on the three Bonds and Zealand; and Madison, Adams, and Jefferson. We did the Bonds and Zealand in December but had not been able to get above treeline until Monday to finish off these last three.

The three summits also mark the 42-44th peaks climbed in round one of our quest to hike all the 48 4,000-footers this winter and brings our total for the winter to 61 peaks. Photos from this hike can be found here.
