Following Atticus: Forty-Eight High Peaks, One Little Dog, and an Extraordinary Friendship by Tom Ryan is published by William Morrow. It tells the story of my adventures with Atticus M. Finch, a little dog of some distinction. You can also find our column in the NorthCountry News.

Let's Keep It Going

It's all for a good cause. In the past 24 hours four more peaks have been dedicated to pets and because of the generosity of the donors, some good money is going to Angell Animal Medical Center to help to treat and cure animals in need. There are now 24 peaks left in the first round and the goal is to have them all dedicated by the time winter starts on December 22nd. Get your dedications in now. Two things to remember: all money goes to Angell Memorial Medical Center; and you don't have to send in your check immediately, you can do it by the end of March. Either way, dedicate one of the remaining 25 peaks left today and let's keep it going. It's all for a good cause. Above you will see a photo of Baxter, whom we have never met. With him is Rolly, his owner and friend, whom we have met. They are posed on the famous Bondcliff in the middle of the Pemigewasset Wilderness. Rolly has just dedicated Mt. Bond to Baxter. To find out which peaks remain open for dedication check this page.
